Yes. The Free plan covers an active search: 30 job adds a month by hand, plus read-only access from the REST API and a connected AI assistant. Pro and Max add automated writing and email reminders.

Not a native one in the app stores yet. jobwyre is an installable web app: it works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your phone or desktop home screen and open it like any other app.

Every new account is seeded with a set of sample jobs (each prefixed “Sample:”) so the board and calendar aren't empty on day one. Edit or delete them whenever you like; they never count against your limits and never trigger reminder emails.

Pro ($4.99/mo): unlimited manual tracking, email interview reminders, and a daily allowance to write to your board from the REST API and from a connected assistant (separate pools). Yes. Billed yearly, it works out roughly 35% cheaper than monthly.

Yes. Open the billing portal from the Usage page (“Manage billing”). You keep paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Nothing. Your jobs stay exactly as they are. Only the limits change: on Free, for example, automated writes from the API and assistants stop (reading still works).

jobwyre itself doesn't run any AI. It exposes an MCP server and a REST API; you connect the assistant you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, …) and it does the work: answering questions about your search, logging applications, updating statuses.

Add jobwyre.app/api/mcp as a custom connector / remote MCP server in your assistant and sign in to approve it. Step-by-step on the Connect your AI page. Any plan can connect read-only; Pro and Max let the assistant add and edit jobs.

Yes. Reading your jobs works on every plan; creating and editing them needs Pro or Max. The API key and docs live in the dashboard under API.

Only if you grant it read & write access, and only through the same validation the app enforces on you. It's instructed to confirm details you didn't give rather than invent them, and you can revoke a connection at any time from the Connect your AI page.

Open the Calendar page in your dashboard and choose Add to calendar. jobwyre gives you a private calendar link. Subscribe to it from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or any calendar app that can subscribe by URL, and your interview rounds show up alongside the rest of your schedule. Your calendar app decides how often it refreshes, so a new or moved interview can take a while to appear. Available on every plan.

There's an in-app reminder for every upcoming round on all plans. Pro and Max also get an email shortly before each interview. Turn the emails off anytime on the Usage page.

Only you. Nothing is shared with third parties beyond Google (for sign-in) and Stripe (for billing, on paid plans). See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Yes. Pull everything through the REST API (GET /api/jobs), or send us a message and we'll send you an export.
